My wife Michele and I recently worked with Erin McCormick Torres of KW Vermont to find a home in the Champlain Valley area of Vermont. It has been a dream of ours to own a home in Vermont for years and really wanted to find something that embodied all we love about the Green Mountain State. We wanted privacy, views, enough room for our family and friends to visit, and a location where we could easily drive to all the things we love to do in all seasons. I think we summed it up as we wanted something very “Vermonty.” Erin did a great job interpreting our vision and lining up properties for us to see – being out of state she was incredibly willing to work with our schedule over the Memorial Day holiday weekend to line up showings. She absolutely knocked it out of the park with the very first listing she showed us, a beautiful turn-key log home in Huntington with incredible mountain views including our favorite, Camel’s Hump. She also did a great job educating us on where the market was and when it came time to make an offer, she crafted an incredibly strong and fair offer that was accepted without a counter! Erin’s professionalism and dedication really shined through from the day the offer was accepted till our closing date. As out-of-state buyers, the mountain of tasks ahead of us seemed overwhelming.
